L'organisation de défense des Lesbiennes, gays, bi et trans (Inter-LGBT) a dénoncé jeudi dans un communiqué le report de la «gay pride» de Paris au mois de juillet, en raison de l'Euro de foot.

«Selon la préfecture de police, la Marche des fiertés de Paris ne pourra pas avoir lieu cette année lors du traditionnel dernier samedi du mois de juin (le 25) mais est reportée au samedi 2 juillet 2016 en raison de la probable prolongation de l'état d'urgence et de l'Euro 2016», a dénoncé l'organisation.

L'Euro 2016 se tient du 10 juin au 10 juillet en France.


Déplorant une «situation révoltante» et une «hiérarchisation des priorités», l'inter-LGBT réclame un rendez-vous avec la maire de Paris Anne Hidalgo. «Le football (est-il) plus important que les droits humains ?», s'interroge-t-elle.

«Si l'Inter-LGBT entend la nécessité d'assurer la sécurité des marcheuses et marcheurs, elle déplore que la mairie de Paris n'ait tenté aucune action pour faire en sorte que la Marche et l'Euro puissent cohabiter», s'insurge l'organisation.

L'année dernière, plusieurs dizaines de milliers de personnes avaient battu le pavé au rythme des sonos à Paris. D'autres marches sont habituellement organisées en province et dans d'autres grandes villes à l'étranger en juin et juillet.
